Who we are

Mangrove County (“the game”, “we”) is a work of interactive fiction operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], contactable at help@mangrovecounty.com.

What you are buying

A licence to play a case: to download its printable file and access its online materials through your account. A boxed edition includes the same licence, redeemed with the code on the reviewer card. You may print the file for your own play and your own table. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish the case materials or their solutions.

Accounts

You need an account to play. You must be 16 or older. We do not store passwords; you sign in with a one-time code or a linked provider. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You may delete it at any time from your account page.

Squad Rooms

One purchase runs one Squad Room of up to six people. Invitees need only a free account. Do not use a Squad Room to share case solutions outside your group.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to extract case solutions from our systems, automate the interrogation or hint services, or interfere with other players. The interrogation characters are fiction; do not rely on anything they say as real advice of any kind.

Content

Cases are rated 16+ and depict the aftermath of violence through documents, non-graphically, and reference alcohol. They never depict sexual violence or harm to children. All persons, places, businesses and events are invented.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Our refund policy is on the refunds page and forms part of these terms.

Changes and liability

We may update the game and these terms; material changes will be posted here. The game is provided as is, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law. [JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW — to be set with counsel.]
